Dr. Murphy earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He served internships at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, the University of Kentucky Department of Ophthalmology and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dayton, OH. He has been in practice in Central Pennsylvania since 2009.

Dr. Murphy performs comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings for adults and children. He is also highly experienced in the pre and postoperative care of patients undergoing laser vision correction surgery, working closely with Dr. Procope at Lasik Plus in Harrisburg. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association.
